Our C.E.O. and Chairman of the Board, Michael Mazzeo Jr. started in the electrical industry as an apprentice in 1968 and went on
to Journeyman Electrician prior to opening Michael Mazzeo Electric Corporation in 1977. This
metropolitan company has grown steadily in its 27 years to now employing over 200 qualified electricians,
serving many diverse areas of the industry. Mr. Mazzeo was named President of the Association of
Electrical Contractors in 1993, (the largest electrical association in America). Today,
Mr. Mazzeo represents New York in Washington, DC on the national level.
Mr. Mazzeo holds Masters Electricians Licenses in New York City, as well as Nassau and Suffolk
Counties. Michael Mazzeo has a New York State Fire and Security Alarm License, is a member of NETA
(National Electrical Testing Association), and serves as the contractor representative on the The New
York City Electrical Advisory Board.
David J. Parker President
David Parker has been in the industry for over 25 years and joined the Michael Mazzeo Electric Corporation in 1983 as
a Journeyman Electrician. In 1988, Mr. Parker was named to the position of Superintendent of Construction. He became
Director of Operations and an Officer of the Corporation in 1996, holding the title of Vice President. In the year 2000,
David Parker was named President. Mr. Parker holds an Associates Degree from Empire State College in Labor Studies as well as a New York
City Master Electricians License.
Michael A. Joyce Chief Operating Officer
Michael Joyce has 21 years experience in the electrical industry and has been C.O.O. since
September 2001 in the Michael Mazzeo Electric Corporation. Prior to joining the Mazzeo Company
he served as Vice President and General Manager of Hugh O'Kane Datacom from August 1999 to
September 2001. From 1983 to 1999, Mr. Joyce held various positions at Mass Electric Construction
Company (one of the nations largest electric contractors). He served as a manager in Boston, Los Angeles
and Dallas before being appointed Vice President and Area Manager for the New York/New Jersey operations
in July of 1997. Mr. Joyce holds a BBA in Operations Management from Pace University and a MBA in
Economics from Bentley College.
Russ Flaum Senior Vice President - Municipal Electric Division
Russ Flaum was President of Municipal Electric Co., Inc. when it was purchased by Michael Mazzeo Electric
Corp. in September 2003. Mr. Flaum was named Vice President for the Mazzeo Company and is responsible for all
operations continuing to do business as Municipal Electric Company. Municipal Electric Company has annual sales of
approximately of eight to ten million dollars, specializing in Electrical Maintenance and Interior Office Construction. Mr. Flaum
has 34 years experience in the Electrical Industry. He joined Local 3 as an apprentice in 1974 and became an "A" Journeyman in
1979. Mr. Flaum holds a Master Electricians license as well as a New York State Security and Fire Alarm license. Mr. Flaum is a past member
of the Board of Directors for the Association of Electrical Contractors in New York.
Ronald D. Widmayer
Senior Vice President
Ronald Widmayer has 33 years experience in the electrical industry starting in 1971 and has been employed with Michael Mazzeo Electric
Corporation since 1995. Prior experience includes estimating, project management, contract negotiations and electrical engineering. For 13 years
(1982 - 1995) Mr. Widmayer held the position as President of Bay Harbor International, an electrical distributor, supplying switchgear,
lighting and all manner of electrical equipment to overseas construction sites, as well as off shore oil rigs. Mr. Widmayer holds a Bachelor of Electrical
Engineering Technology from N.Y. Institute of Technology, class of 1976.
Christine Mazzeo Chief Financial Officer
Christine Mazzeo began working for Michael Mazzeo Electric Corporation in 1994. Ms. Mazzeo's duties included clerical work,
bookkeeping, and payroll. Christine Mazzeo went on to work in the human resources department of American International
Group, (AIG) from August 1997 to May of 1999. Ms. Christine Mazzeo then returned to Mazzeo Electric Corporation in 1999 as CFO in charge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. Ms. Mazzeo holds
a BA in Liberal Arts from Fairfield University, class of 1997 and an MBA in Finance and Management from Fordham University, class of
2001.
Simeon Barron Vice President - Systems Division
Simeon Barron has been with Michael Mazzeo Electric Corporation since September of 2001. Previously, Mr. Barron started his career
with the Western Electric Company in 1969 focusing on power needs of the telecommunications industry. Between 1975 and 1979, he was employed
as a maintenance electrician for Beth Isreal Medical Center responsible for the upgrades and service of the entire electrical infrastructure.
Returning to Western Electrical in 1979, he was promoted into management in 1983. Responsible for both A.C. and D.C. operations in the New York City
Area, he remained at this position until his retirement in July of 2001. Mr. Barron held a New York City Electricians License from 1986-1996, with responsibility for
installations outside of the typical telephone central office.
Nicholas Imperato
Senior Vice President
Nicholas Imperato joined Michael Mazzeo Electric Corp in 2003 as a Vice President overseeing all electrical
work for Office Interiors. Mr. Imperato has been in the Electrical Industry since 1972. He was a founder
and Corporate Officer for R.N.R. Associates from 1984 to 2003 holding titles of Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer.
At R.N.R., Mr. Imperato oversaw a $12,000,000/year electrical contracting operation specializing in Office Interiors (new work
and renovation) and High Rise Construction. Mr. Imperato has held a Master Electricians license since 1983.
Steven W. Michaeloff Senior Vice President - Institutional & Special Projects Division
Steven Michaeloff has been a member of the Electrical Industry for the past 37 years starting as
an apprentice in 1967. Mr. Michaeloff received his Bachelor Degree from the City of New York Queens College
and his New York City Master Electrician License in 1980. In 1975, Mr. Michaeloff formed Allran Electric Corporation. As President of Allran, Mr. Michaeloff helped build the US Air Terminal
at LaGuardia Airport, White Street Jail in Chinatown, the Museum of Television and Radio in Manhattan and Polytech College Dibner
Library in Brooklyn.
Mr. Michaeloff has extensive experience in new hospital construction at St. John's Episcopal, Jamaica,
Bronx Lebanon, and Roosevelt Hospitals, as well as extensive hospital alterations at LI Jewish, NYU, Mt. Sinai, Staten Island,
Columbia Presbyterian and Sloan Kettering. As Vice President of Mazzeo's Institutional & Special Project Division, Mr. Michaeloff
will oversee all projects related to Health Care Facilities/Hospitals and Institutions. |
